Poll: Be honest, did you want Panthers to win?

A win in regular season is never worthless, despite what many here think.

And having a POTENTIAL good QB sure is going to help if we can't provide him protection.

At some point, ya gotta stop being madden players, and and return to a normal thought process, if one ever existed in the first place.

If we get Luck, great, if we don't, oh well. I'm not going to sit here and try to convince myself that losing is a good thing, and winning is worthless, just for the top overall pick, regardless who will be there.

This roster is gonna get washed clean. The core players know what it is to win. At this point losing will do nothing to hurt this team as most of them will be gone anyway. And to answer the question, YES I wanted them to lose and I hope Atlanta wipes the floor with them next week.

Madden players? lmao. Maybe you should return to a "normal thought process" and think of the bigger picture. A win 2 weeks from now does us no good no matter how you try to think otherwise.

It's not going to be that hard to build the o-line. We dont need top picks for that. We can load up on linemen through Free Agency and late round picks. Luck is a once in a decade type of QB. Yes there's risk in selecting a QB that high, but theres ALWAYS going to be. We have to be willing to take that risk, just like other teams in the league have done, if we want a offense that's consistantly good with a Franchise QB at the helm FINALLY for the first time in Panthers history.

But I'll leave you with your "normal thought process". Because no matter how you try to sound high and mighty, it won't be in the best interest of the team.

Jimmy Clausen will NEVER be a great QB in this league. The Panthers have NEVER been great because they've never had a top tier QB. I'm tired of watching a game manager, I'm tired of not having back to back winning seasons, I don't want a one year wonder run. I want a top tier QB. I want a dynasty. The FA QB market isn't that good right now. Luck could be the real deal. I don't see why you'd rather flounder in mediocrity than take the gamble on what could be the start of an amazing time here in Carolina. The Panthers are not winners. In order to become winners you have to take chances, and have to go for the gold. If Luck is one piece to that puzzle, awesome. If he's a bust...it won't change a thing. We'll continue on as we always have. FOUR winning seasons in 16 years. Something has to change.
