I see your point, honestly I don't know how they would "focus" on losing. I mean some of those guys don't have to try to suck, they just do. As for the others, Im not sure. I can appreciate no lack of effort no matter what, but if we end up 2-13 after today (which we should), I think having bad tape on the last game of the season would be the least of their worries.

haha yeah that is . . . undeniably true. I agree that there isn't much to be tangibly gained, and it is hard to give a great performance in this environment. However, if we saw guys like Beason and Stewart dogging it and just giving up, I would feel a lot worse about this team than if we missed out on the top pick of the draft. But I can certainly see why people would want that and hope the players see it the same.

I'm sure it feels like a slap in the face for the players to "earn" the top pick in the draft. They may want to get Luck, except Clausen probably, but how could they focus on losing? Intentionally play bad? And what have bad film on them for that next contract negotiation or job competition? It doesn't seem like something someone would do on a financial level, all of that before you even get into a guys professional pride and work ethic.
