I just watched a news report from WSOC.

Her name is Wendy Naidas. She apparently was in a traffic accident recently, that she says wasn't her fault, she has medical bills piling up, and she came to the studio to see if someone would help her with her situation.

Apparently from there, she snapped, put a gun to her head, and threatened suicide unless someone would listen to her. She threatened no one but herself, and as it turns out, the gun was empty.

She is currently undergoing mental evaluations.

Sounds like the poor lady is hurt, needs some help, and snapped. I agree that what she did is grounds for criminal action, but if WSOC doesn't want to press charges, I can understand that.
