NWS discussion is the best. But if you watch the radar and satellite pictures you can see where it is heading. Just remember NC Mountains tear up a snow storm pretty good but rebuilds over Greensboro.

GFS just came out.

Its coming more into agreement with the other models. Low going further south, but its slower. If this were accurate, snow wouldnt start till Saturday evening and snow all night...

Yea, all 3 models agree it will snow, they just disagree on the timing. Looks like it could start anywhere from 12am xmas morning till that evening. Also the accumulation is anywhere from 3-10" depending on the speed of the storm. According to CO, it hasn't snowed here more than flurries since 1947. Sweet! I'm going to make yellow snow angels for christmas

if the snow comes from atl then we get it. otherwise like squirrel said, the NC mtns usually offset us getting hit in Char. i would love it and I'm ready for a mega snowball fight in my hood anyways.
