How do we know that Jeff Davidson isn't actually Grimm wearing a fake beard? I mean, have you ever seen them in the same room together? I have not.

Maybe, but Grimm has played under, and helped with several different systems. Pittsburgh was run heavy, but Zona's teams, including their superbowl team have been more pass oriented with emphasis on getting it down the field.

Personally, I prefer a coach that bases his offense on the personnel he has to work with. Not sure if that is Grimm, not sure that its not.

Good points. I think there are innovators and leaders. Sometimes it is hard to determine the difference. Innovators are great, but they better know how to lead. Leaders who lack creativity and proactive thinking are good for maintaining morale on a sinking ship. You need both. Grimm, it seems, is neither. He is a football man, a good sidekick, but I don't see innovation in his adaptations in Arizona, nor do I see leadership yet.

He is an offensive line coach. If he made innovations, would anyone actually see them?

He should probably do some time as a offensive coordinator though before becoming a head coach. Of course, the same could be said of most of the candidates I have read about here.
