I hear ya. I had a gig saturday night and I'm always wiped the day after a gig. Something about pouring your soul into the music, sounds corny but it's damn true.

The funniest thing was trying to keep my wife awake for the 10 minutes we stopped at home on the way to a party.

As far as instruments I play guitar and sing. I can play drums at a very elementary level, and naturally my guitar skills translate to bass fairly well.

In regards to music styles, I love everything but country essentially. I've played in death metal bands, jazz bands, blues bands, hard rock bands, and obscure Avant-Garde style stuff.

If you enjoy the bass or drums at all and want to be in demand just focus on one of those two. Charlotte is starved for good bass players and drummers.

Yea, I've filled in for bass in a few bands. I just don't have the same passion for it as I do for guitar. The market is over-saturated with guitarists though. That much is for sure.
