Key Moments: Cardinals at Panthers

Since I can't create a thread to bring this up, I guess it fits here. In regards to Arizona's touchdown, I thought if a player fumbled and the ball went forward into the endzone, a different offensive player couldn't recover the ball. It had to be recovered by the fumbling player or the defense. Weren't we hit with this rule last year? I can't remember exactly what game it was, but I seem to recall someone fumbling, the ball bouncing into the endzone and Jeff King coming up with the ball from the pile, but because he didn't fumble it the refs gave the ball to the opposing team at the 1. I seem to recall this being an important play in that game too. Help me out if my memory is faulty.
