Draft history question

Plunkett's a good answer. I wonder how he would have done in Pittsburgh. I also wonder if he would come out today, given the dollars that they make now versus back in the early 70s.

Clarett never had a shot at the top selection. I don't even know if he would have been in the top five.

also don't forget given that he was a minority QB which was rare at the time, and he wanted to stay in school to set an example. i think that was the sole reason he wanted to stay

When was the last time a college player with eligibility remaining was considered a lock for the number one overall pick, and did not come out?

Note I said lock.

I can't remember it happening, but I wouldn't be surprised if it has. Anyone know?

Bradford just signed for 6 years and 78 million. You literally would have to be insane to pass on that for another year of college.
