As I said to someone before, I didn't invest in the Panthers for money returned, I invested in them because I love pro football, the game played at it's highest level. The Panthers have seldom come close to that. In fifteen years, I can count maybe 15 games that mattered and most of those came in 1996 and 2003. All I ask is for a pro team that looks like a team, most times, the Panthers don't against quality competition.

I say, Russ Grimm is not enough for me to renew my PSLs, not nearly enough, not even close. I suspect many other PSL holders feel the same way.

If JR wants people back in the stadium, Russ Grimm isn't going to do it.

Cowher is smart enough to bring in great assistants, one of which could replace him when he gets sick of it again.

As much as I want it, I doubt it will happen as long as Hurney is in the picture. He is just as responsible for the 3 winning seasons in 10 years as Fox is, not that anything ever gets really leveled at him in the media. Fox and the QB are more visible and easier targets.

The only thing I see wrong with this picture is Hurney is no longer under contract with the Panthers. He works with the Panthers Front Office on a weekly term until the season is at end. If JR really wanted Hurney back long term then he would have already resigned him to a long term contract by now. Hurney is just sticking it out until the end of the season. Then he will most likly be gone with Fox. Hurney Sucks as a GM anyways.

This just all rummors right now. No one really knows where Cowher will end up at. Wheather here NYC with the Giants or any where else. But thing to do is wait and see for now.

Cowher could be leaking Texas, Giants,and Miami

Cowher knows how to play the media, could be pushing his $$$ up with other teams using the media.

If a team had NO shot per the media,they may up their $$$

Cowher could have an under the table deal in place

Agreed. While I love Cowher's personality as a coach, the job Tomlin has done up there since he left should PROVE that Cowher wasn't the reason for the Steeler's success.
