nah, he is playing like he always does. He throws to the sideline immeidately on his first read or checks down. Nothing more. He has been doing this all season.

Defenders don't have to worry about the majority of the field. Clausen isn't a threat. Growing a pair and showing improvement would have been the 3rd down play where Smitty got pissed.

Don't remember him throwing it longer than 15 yards this many times all year. I don't disagree that he's missed plenty of opportunities, but it seems to be an improvement over "I didn't throw it because I was scared of being intercepted."
