Dude, if you want your team to lose, you are not being a good fan. It's a pretty simple concept. Fans support their team, hoping for a loss is not supporting your team. You can think what you want, but that seems like a fairly straight forward situation.

Well then here's hoping we don't get that first pick to use on a QB or to trade away for more picks; here's hoping we stick with Jimmy, continue to flounder, stay mediocre as ever, and eventually become the damn Lions (who, btw are slowly getting better due to Drafts). But as long as we root for pure crap, we're better fans than anyone else who knows how this team needs to improve and is willing to sacrifice three games to get that improvement. Right?

Look, this team has never been great and never will be unless things change around here. This might be the most important Draft in the history of the franchise. Having the best pick is the key. But you go on and root your ASS OFF for 4-12. You're the best Panther fan everrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Ive said it many times I want us to loose or tie and the Bengals to win, If the Bengals win out then I want us to win out...I'm using common fuging sense. I didn't want Jimmy, I said many time we will end up like the Browns QB's Anderson/ Quinn debacle and I was hoping for a Rivers/Brees situation but that never happened.

Bottom line this season is poo what will 3 more wins get us? Not a damn thing. What will 3 more losses get us? Hopefully a real franchise QB to compete with Brees. Ryan and Freeman(HELLO WE NEED TO KEEP UP IN THIS DIVISION). I will sacrifice 3 meaningless games for the greater good.

BTW...I'm a huge fan always have been and always will. No one can ? my fandom. I sat through a 1-15 season and what did that get us? Julius fuging Peppers. He was a pretty good player.

Greater good my ass. If you're going to intentionality handicap your team then don't even put them on the field. The fans want to see a good team every year. I'm tired of settling for 7-9 every other year. This team was good enough to win games I honestly believe that but Fox couldn't manage it. That said I still think we could have had some contributors fairly cheaply but the FO didn't even do that.

I never want our team to lose. Further more I don't believe 1 player is going to solve our problems. Get us an OC with half a f**king brain, a RG, a decent DT, and maybe get 1 guy, for once in the past 10 years to compliment Steve Smith and we are a winning football team. You think the players want to lose? They fight hard to win these games and I'm going to cheer them on. 1-15 is a joke and a disgrace.

The only way JR makes up for it is by improving this team. I want our holes fixed. No excuses. If there's a talented guy and he spat spit balls at kids in class, I don't give a fug, sign him.

this division will be the hardest in the nfl for the next few years, and just playing "foxball" with no worthy qb (ANDREW LUCK) will kill us and make us perennial basement dwellers.

The same "holier-than-thou" fans who look down on other Panther fans who want the best long-term success for this team will be the same ones bitching if we take some lineman with the 3rd or 4th draft pick next year, or we trade down since a franchise QB isn't available by then.

I would never "root" for the Panthers to go out and lose, but I am confident in how bad we suck right now, I do not believe this team believes it can win, and the losses don't hurt anymore because there is a nice prize out there for finishing DFL.
