The Good Things About Christmas

Saltman pointed out some bad ones like going into debt, but in general there are more good things. What are your favorites?

Mine

giving to the needy or anyone, dirty santa partys, drinking with the family, getting stuffed on food, playing video/board games, passing out after it all by a fire

I hated Christmas after I started school as a child.

Sure I liked getting time off and new stuff, but overall I've never really liked saving up our giving spirit and other similar aspects of ourselves only for certain days. We should give of ourselves year-round.

Easier said than done of course.

Love giving more than receiving...thats what he/she said

Its always awesome when you find the absolute perfect gift for someone and you get to watch them open it...this is true for me all the time though, not just Christmas.

Adopted a single mother family here at work this year, will be giving her and her 2 children a happy, wonderful Christmas.

I love love love love loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee Christmas decorations. Usually will drive around and see them all in the good neighborhoods where I know a lot of people have decorations

Christmas parties are the poo. Yesterday we had our work Christmas lunch at 131 Main and it was awesooome. This weekend I have a dress up party which my boss is helping me make an elf costume for, and then a tacky Christmas sweater/Secret Santa party with my girlfriends on Saturday night

Love getting to see my whole family come together and get drunk with everyone. Love eating too much and all the candy and sweets that comes with the holiday!
