things you used to do before/during/after panthers games that you don't anymore

take excedrin for my post game headache. knowing we are going to lose takes the stress out of it.

i also used to take a nap after the games, but now i don't wait to take a nap. if i get tired during the game, i don't fight it.

I used to go to church in the mornings and couldn't wait to watch when 1:00 rolled around. I would bring something home to eat and the wife would take a nap while I watched the game.

I still go to church but rather than get excited, I just DVR the game and go into town to grab something to eat. Then when I have a chance later that night, I'll watch the game. I hate adjusting to new routines.

Well, these are things that I used to do that I don't anymore because of Work. (working on Sundays, or Out of the country hurts your ability to watch Panthers games)

Used to wake up play video games for the first hour and then watch Pregame or other games till the panthers game, would always play for 1 hour no more or less.

During the game I would wear a Panthers jersey with a shirt underneath and if the Panthers where down at Half time I would take the Jersey off, also what ever Pants I was wearing during the Panthers first win I would wear for the rest of the year until or until the Panthers were eliminated. my green pair of pants got a lot of work in 03.

and I would never eat until after the game

I would turn on the fox pregame show and listen while I prepared something on the grill. The whole family would dress out in Panthers gear and we would keep an air horn close by to drive the neighbors crazy when we scored.

We kept those traditions for years, unfortunately the last 2 years have brought an end to doing those things.:nopity:

I used to believe that every game was winnable, even when we were down by more than two scores.

Now I am not confident that the Panthers can beat the Arizona Cardinals.

Used to wear the same color jersey the team was wearing, now I just wear whatever one I feel like. Used to get up early and watch pregame shows. Used to go to almost all the games, just can't justify the trip anymore. I want the number 1 pick, and I don't want to drive to Charlotte to root for the team to lose.

I used to play the game in madden franchise mode that we were playing that week early, then watch "Panthers Huddle", plus I also find myself not really wearing any jerseys anymore, I used to wear a jersey for the same color jerseys we were wearing in game, now I'm lucky if I throw on a hat
