If we get a first round pick

for Peppers who would you take? Obviously we'll need a DE. My board for them in order would be:

Brian Orakpo (Texas) 6'4" 255lbs (incredible strength for his size)

Everette Brown (Fla. St) 6'4" 248lbs (probably fastest of this class)

Tyson Jackson (LSU) 6'5" 292lbs (excellent speed for his size)

Jackson is expected to be a high second round pick, we could trade up for him and use our first on a DT.

Brandon Tate? He's coming of a bad knee injury. From what I've read, he's projected really low anyways. Pass.

Definitely not a first round pick even if he was healthy.

He's a third - fourth round pick right now, if he shows he can come back from the mcl and acl tears then he would probably go as high as the late 2nd round or early third.

i like aaron kelly...WR out of clemson...nice size for a WR

He's big, but not physical. Sorry. Size is one thing, but being physical is what puts the size to use. I remember a couple years ago, in a game vs VT. he got virtually abused all game by Brandon Flowers.. a corner WAY smaller than he is.

The thing that worries me about Johnson is that his motor runs hot and cold. He is basically a Peppers clone in everyway. And that exactly isn't always a good thing. There's no doubt that he could be miles ahead of any of the DE's coming out this year and be a complete monster in this league. But will he ever realize it and reach all his untapped potential?

Totally agree. The Jared Allen of this draft will be Paul Kruger.

Seriously, release Ken Lucas, trade Pep for a first rounder and then draft a corner and pick up Albert Haynesworth. Geeeezzzzzzzz

That's assuming if and that's a huge if the Titans don't resign him. Even if he makes it to FA he would probably end up being the highest paid DT in the game and IMO his inconsistent play isn't worth that kind of money.
