I went to a Broncos board and noticed two things:

1. A common misconception that Richardson is a cheap owner.

2. A lot that want Rivera, and believe he wants them too.

I thought, how great will it be when Richardson outbids them for Rivera?

If so, this saga may just be over.

The good news, as reported by The Silver Fox a few minutes ago, is that all of the Chargers coaching staff is under contract with the team (except for Steve Crosby) and can not leave with Ron unless the team lets them go.

Does this mean no Ramsdell? Or didn't someone say they could leave for a promotion?

also, I'm really happy we're getting Rivera. I was always really wary of his interviews that went nowhere, but sometimes it just takes the right situation with the right experience to make it work.

I'll be completely honest, though: OC is nearly as important a hire as HC.

The good thing about this hire is that I think Rivera will finally address the DL. Not to mention he is more aggressive on D than the vanilla bend but dont break D we're accustomed to.
