I dont think that they really want to interview any offensive guys. They might but i just dont see who an they are looking towards to make a decision some time soon between the next 5 to 10 days. An Russ Grimm probably didnt have a chance from the start. An Back to Harbaugh the money is probably what killed him an the panthers chances.I dont think he would have had a problem working with Hurney.But the panthers price was probably way to low.

i just don't see any real dedication to success if this is the pool of coaches we are looking at. it's pretty pathetic and the more i think about that press conference the other day...not just richardson but hurney's comments as well...i just don't see how this team can be seen as anything more than bottom dwellers for a few years.

it sounds like they know what needs to be done, but i just don't think they have the balls to actually do it. it sounds like they are seriously trying to recapture the "greatness" that was john fox and that is disappointing.

I agree. I just think we should chill out until the playoffs are over to see if we interview some of those coaches. If we hire someone before then I will know that the FO was scrambling to get a head coach because JR wanted it done too quickly and didnt do their due diligence.

I don't want to be quickly to judge the candidates until the next HC has a year under his belt to work with. You look at guys like Mike Smith and Mike McCarthy, none of which had been on successful teams prior to becoming HC and now being more successful then ever which makes me hold out hope that we will find that same success again.

i don't care about big names and if you point out me trying to get harbaugh here...i was doing that well before most people had a clue who he was. cowher was the "big name" everyone wanted and i wanted no part of that. still don't.

i want someone who is innovative, aggressive, and not just passionate, but contagiously passionate here. i want to see a serious dedication to improving the worst part of this team (the passing game). i don't see that in any of the candidates. all i see is status quo.

I think we should hire someone before the playoffs are over... Hell, I think we should hire someone before the 10th of this month. We need to let Luck so his options so that he knows whether to declare or not.

Like Gantt said, we've gotten a two year head start in the head coach search. I think that's why there was only four candidates to begin with.

Also, I think that if it is anyone other than Rivera or Ryan, the fanbase is going to be hugely angry.

I want someone who wants to keep scoring until the game is over. Not a run, run, dump off/draw punt type of coach, who has too much control over a bland 4-3 defense.

I think that there main Targets are the 4 candiates at this moment. If we dont interview an Offensive guy.I can see in the end it coming down between Ron Rivera and Rob Ryan..

The thing about it is though, moving quickly means that your candidate pool will consist of guys coaching units on teams that didn't make the playoffs.

Well i wouldnt say he wisest move but.I think that they already have they wont in mind. Maybe we should know later on today who the 5 candiate maybe.
