The Next Head Coach

Mr. Scot

We don't need a offensive minded HC to be successful on offense...

A guy like Rivera could easily bring in a bright minded OC to build this offense into a solid core. Hince the reason why if Rivera becomes HC, I hope he brings Ramsdell will him who developed Warner and Rivers

I can live with that. As long as we bring in some QB talent, Luck or not, I think we will be much improved in 2011.

My reservations with Rivera in particular relate to the number of times he's been interviewed (a dozen now?) and not gotten a job. That is kinda weird to me. I have no doubt he is a good D Coordinator though and maybe he would be a good HC.

Fewell I fear will be like Fox and I don't think his defenses are that great for the talent he has.

By the same token, a good offensive coordinator does not mean we won't have a good defense.

Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't Rex Ryan in a similar situation that Rivera was in?

I swear Rexy was overlooked several times and I never, for the sake of things, figured out why Rex Ryan was never a serious candidate prior to the Jets job.

Rex is uhm... an interesting fellow. I have no idea about his history but perhaps Mr. Scot or someone else does.

I'm not saying Rivera will be bad, and he's not a hire I fear or anything, I just prefer Harbaugh because I've seen him as a head coach and I've seen what kind of attitude he has.

Wow Harbaugh is proving how different he is from Fox

after your back is breaking long runs he's still passing, Stanford hasn't settled for one field goal on a drive yet, he's obviously made some adjustments after the half

not saying he is definitely the answer but i can support his hiring

I have come to the conclusion that we will not get either one of these guys. Our Front office staff is too busy lining up the Giants and Steelers sloppy seconds cause its worked so f**king well for us before. f**k!

Way too soon to make assumptions.

Even if we don't get Harbaugh, the only thing likely to prevent us from getting Luck is his not declaring.
