Not to throw more fuel on the fire, and I've have not read the entire thread.....but Peter King ( I know, I know ), in an interview with Bob Costas last night on the Eagles-Vikes game said the York's (SF) list was down to Gruden and Harbaugh. Then went on to say something like "Gruden will not be the one". Upside ( if it's true.....take it with a big ol' chunk of salt) Harbaugh leaves Standford, and Luck declares and hopefully is wondering about the difference between Lexington or Eastern style.

i see the 49ers signing Ron Rivera or Rob Ryan as their next head coach, Jim Harbaugh will either be at Stanford, Michigan (mistake in my book) or Carolina.

IF Miami fires Sparano, they hire Cowher, short and simple in my book. As for the 49ers, they will want Harbaugh, but i think he goes to Carolina if he goes to the NFL because i think he will want to join Luck. As for the 49ers, i think they get either Ron Rivera, Jon Gruden (if he wants to coach there) or they look elsewhere.
