The Next Head Coach

JR has had a year to think about the next coach. He has promised fans (or at least PSL owners) that things will be better. He prolly does not have 10 years to wait for a SB. I expect a dynamic hire. And I think Smitty will retire a Panther.

Well, Harbaugh would be one. I think he is likely go to with a smart offensive guy this time. I think we have to think about Brian Schottenheimer, especially with his father being in Charlotte. There might be a connection there. (Not advocating for him, just would not be surprised.)

A young defensive guy could get the job, but I think he has to be convincing that he can run a very good offense too.

Might be someone we have not even speculated about....but I bet the next coach will play to win.

Both are not exciting and both are bad choices. This team needs energy and I'm afraid neither will bring that. I will not be happy if this is the "narrowed down" list. They better look outside of this list really hard,

Rivera maybe, Grimm NO! This will continue to be a boring team with Grimm as HC. Nothing our FO can say about Grimm will make me believe he is the best choice.

Why not Rivera? I actually like Rivera as a possible candidate.... His defenses has always been in the top 10 and if he brings someone like Ramsdell from SD (who worked with both Warner and Rivers) he could develop a guy like Luck into a solid QB

its not about convincing us. Who ever convinces our FO in the interviews that they have plan that will turn this franchise around gets the job simply put.

A bit ago on ESPNradio Schefter was asked if SF was going to get Harbaugh, he said "something tells me that's not where he'll end up". Also he said what we been saying that "if he leaves Luck is gone." just FYI.

Thats true there is no way Luck stays an Harbaugh isnt there.But what seems more likely to happen is Harbaugh stay at stanford for next season, an maybe Luck returns to school. I think this is a messed up situation for the panthers. If we cant at least get one or the two is really messed up.If not Harbaugh you gotta say Russ Grimm an Ron Rivera is the main targets. Maybe Jason Garrett gets included in the mix if he doesnt stay with the Cowboys.Depending on what happens with Jeff fisher.
