Green is a legend.

People are just having a hard time seeing it.

Legend.

I hope you're being sarcastic :sosp:

Green won a lot of regular season games back when the Vikings roster had a ridiculous accumulation of talent, but his teams always folded in the playoffs (famously once, 41-0). With the Cardinals, he never even got that far.

His post Bears game rant is really the only thing that qualifies as "legandary".

Agree..Danny Morrison will be apart of the search as well. He has a good college back ground been the AD at TCU. But i believe in the end i think harbaugh stays at school. An it will more likely come down Between Grimm an Ron Rivera. More then likely Grimm getting the Job.There is still always that chance that Harbaugh could tell Luck to go ahead a come out he has nothing else too prove In college football. He is one of the best Players in the nation. The thing about that is also, the Front office has there guy an he is Jimmy clauen. I still think we trade down either Luck comes out or not.

I think luck and harbaugh stay in school; luck to earn a degree and harbaugh to coach luck. period. just my gut feeling. dont see a soph coming out of a good college like that. stanford aint usc.

We will see in just a few short weeks. I do not agree with Pat Y. who said its going to be a slow process. I think we are going to move fast and get started. Do we get 2 or 3 extra OTA's with a new staff?

In the old CBA we did. There will not be any OTA's this year until a new CBA is signed. Could even be June or July.

with the new CBA there might be a decrease in the number of OTAs altogether.

After over a hundred pages of discussion in the prior thread, I decided it would be good to pare the discussion down to the five candidates that have the most buzz around them.

Jim Harbaugh - Head Coach, Stanford University

Russ Grimm - Offensive Line Coach / Run Game Coordinator / Assistant Head Coach, Arizona Cardinals

Perry Fewell - Defensive Coordinator, New York Giants

Sean McDermott - Defensive Coordinator, Philadelphia Eagles

Ron Rivera - Defensive Coordinator, San Diego Chargers

For anyone wanting to revisit the prior discussion, it can be found here: Potential head Coaches

(the initial post contains links to profiles and information posts found throughout the thread to make navigation easier)

Obviously, these five are not the only choices. The next coach could be one of the others discussed previously, or could be someone that we haven't even talked about at all.

Still, for the moment, these are the names that make the most sense.

And so, here we go...again :sosp:
