“I tried to get Armanti on the field all season,” coach John Fox said. “He’s making a big transition at the receiver position. I’m not sure that people in the league evaluated him as an NFL quarterback.

“He does have some abilities in that area. As you can tell, we have to spend quite a bit of time running our regular offense with any kind of consistency. As much as you get tempted, it’s hard to do all of that in a week’s work with the way we are executing at this point, in particular in the passing game.”

As much as I would like to see Armanti given a shot like some of you guys, we have to realize how hard it is to get him some practice reps with our offense as horrible as it is (even excluding QB play)

I disagree, after all... Clausen is on the field and he sucks

And Sherrod Martin was good enough last year and he didn't see the field until an injury forced him out.

If you want to argue that people don't lose their job due to injury tell that to Drew Bledsoe.

Clausen > any other Qb or potential Qb on our roster including AE.

Not sure I would agree. I would take Null or St Pierre over Clausen in a minute. The only reason Clausen is playing is because the FO is desperate to see any spark of potential in him in order to justify picking him in the second round. This week will be the last opportunity for him to play decently based on how poor Arizona is and for the Clausen slob bobbers to talk about how he is improving.

I'm startin to believe your @ss on Clausen.... but that shoots your 'Hurney isn't to blame' theory for the shitty season.
