Ingredients to Luck against Cardinals

Let's face it, we already slipped up once and beat the 49ers (I mainly blame Matt Moore and David Gettis). We cannot afford to do that again so the keys to lack of success against the Cardinals will be as follows:

-Do not run the ball too much

Goodson and Stewart scare me. Anytime they touch the ball it could be a 4-5 yard gain and even worse a first down. We need Jordan Gross and Williams (IDK his name he's the god awful guy on the right side) to continue allowing defenders to hit them in the back field. Fiametta and Schwartz must be stopped. They go out there throwing blocks and throwing away next season. Less effort guys!

-Pickles, Pickles and more Pickles

Jimmy Clausen needs to maintain his current streak of passes without a TD pass. Shouldn't require much effort on his part. He just needs to lose yards via poor pocket movement resulting in sacks and he needs to continue throwing the ball away. Throwing the ball away is better than throwing next season away.

-Bad Special Teams Day

This is the X factor in this game. Jason Baker has been putting himself before the team and more specifically before Andrew Luck. Stopping Touchdowns, pinning guys inside the 5, rallying the troops, etc. Also John Kasay aside from a Luck saving performance in Cleveland has been stellar to a fault. If this turns into a field position and field goal kicking game, We might find ourselves luckless next year.

Please share what you guys think we'll need to do against the Cardinals to secure our #1 pick.

It'd really help give us some breathing room if the Bengals beat the Browns, I'm not holding my breath on that though

See this is the wrong attitude and I can only hope our players aren't thinking this way. The Panthers are in the driver's seat here. If they take care (or rather don't take care) of their business, we fans will be witness to Andrew Luck.

As if the Bengals could beat Jake Delhomme.

yeah, It would be better to pull for the Bengals this week. Arizona is way worse than us and we will shut them down offensively. If Stew and Goodson run anywhere near the way they have been running, they might put 300 on the Cards. So we need to be Palmer and TO fans this weekend.
