Only a month or so ago people were saying there is not a sure fire #1 pick, now Luck is compared to the all time greats. That's some meteoric rise...

Now I am not saying he doesn't deserve the accolades, but his status is based on this year only. Before this season he wouldn't have been the first QB off the board, so I am just a little apprehensive about jumping in and believing everything that is said.

From what I can gather he is a good leader, has sound mechanics and great footwork/pocket awareness. His arm is not what separates him, so I am just a little concerned with everyone tauting him as such when I have heard other QBs described in such a way.

His intellect is what separates him from any other high prospect QB in the draft which is very important and rare at his caliber and most definitely cannot be coached.
