I don't think trade charts will align well with trades that actually happen in this draft.  Teams swapping a few spots or even 10ish spots in R1 are all in the same wheelhouse - they are well aware the players are all roughly holding similar value from #8-50.  

Which is why trades may not be prominent until we're in the mid-teens.  The higher teams won't want what the lower/offering teams are willing to give.  Unless they're cool with less value than normal.

No one is tossing a future first for Sanders.  And rumor from PIT beat reporters they are focusing on the lines Round 1 anyways.

Why in the world would a world-class organization like the Steelers and an all-time great coach like Tomlin invite the Sanders family into their fold? It would be like inviting a tornado into your brand new double-wide.

If it happens, it'll be the end of the Steelers for a decade. Of course, we'd be sitting pretty.

There is at least some speculation that sanders may go to new orleans at 9.  That makes us a logical trade partner for anyone that wants him.

Even if the saints don't really want him, it benefits us if other teams think they might.  If they do and we block them, even better.

If we were offered anything like the op mentions, we should accept.  Then maybe trade up for a 2nd late first rounder.  Id love to get an edge and wr late in the first.  If we could do that and add a 26 1st, that would be amazing.

If we're dropping from 8 to 21 so they can take a QB, then I want 2 future 1sts.  That is a massive drop to take in the 1st round and while all those mid round picks would be nice to have, all taking all of them is doing is turning it into another CMC trade where we took overall trade value over high end impact.

I want 21, their next two 1sts, and then probably still another 3rd and 4th this year.

Not sure where this idea sprouted from or whether there's anything to it (minus corroborating discussion from Insiders, seems unlikely) but for the sake of discussion, here's what they're talking about...

 

I said this a week ago and someone said it's idiotic basically  bc they want Rodgers. Newsflash,  Rodgers is a 1 year bandaid at most and if he gets hurt, Pittsburgh  has nothing else  but just traded for Metcalf.  I still think Shedaur may go to the Giants tho. Cam Jordan was on Good Morning Football.  A player like Cam (lifelong Saint and a great ambassador for any team--I like him a lot) could be used by the Saints to create a smokescreen.  He denied that the Saints would take a QB in the first round, claiming that it has not been done since Manning in 1971 (paraphrasing)... It seems to me, (conspiracy theory forthcoming) that bit of information would have to have been researched/premeditated/planned.  Was he attempting to scoff at the concept that the Saints would draft a QB at #10?  Remember, Carr missed 7 games last year and had a 63.something QB rating.  He was not believed to be returning in 2025.  When the Saints thought that one of the top 2 Qbs were not going to be there at #10, they did not take advantage of the void clause in his contract, the way I understand it.  That means they continued to kick the Carr contract down the road.  In 2026, Carr's cap number is $69m--nearly a quarter of the cap for a 35-year old QB they do not want.  He is to be paid a $40m salary with a $10m roster bonus. While I am not a capologist, it is interesting if they really like Shedeur. All that matters is the perception that the Saints will take him at 10.

If the Giants pass on him, and I think they likely will, Sanders could draw interest from the Raiders (I do not see it) at 6 or the Jets at 7 (more likely, but still unlikely).  The Panthers are the most likely trade partner--unless the Jets want to move back.  So who may realistically trade up for a qb?  The Colts (14), but there is no noise about them taking a QB and I do not think they have shown interest--instead, a competition between Richardson and Jones is the plan.  The Steelers (21) are in play, and the Rams are in play.  There is, however, another option for Carolina as a trade partner--The Saints.  A draft day switch for a third rounder might keep the Panthers targeting their player at 8 and add a pick in the process, suggesting they do not want to move back--but I get the impression that the Panthers are looking to move back.
