I lost it once a while back, but found it again about half an hour later.

As to Warren, don't know but I wouldn't rule anyone out based on visits. Plenty of teams (us included) draft players they might not have hosted.

Beyond that though, again it was just because you mentioned TEs. Wasn't making an argument on any particular point.

Yeah we have invested a bunch ot time with tight ends and it's clearly obvious they like Warren. I think they really wanted to dive into the others to see the gap personally and make a decision off that. If they feel Taylor or  1 of the other tight ends have  good upside as a 2 way tight end, they may go that route.  Warren is the only 1 right now that  shows he could be a starter bc he isn't a liability in run or pass.   They have options.

They are trying to see the gap between Walker etc and the next wave of rushers. The value may be too good to not go offense early and then go edge later if the drop aint bad. This is a true battle amongst defense n offense in the draft room and they are doing a mini process of elimination.

It's difficult for me to buy an organization as historically well ran as the Steelers doing something this colossally stupid unless somehow David Tepper has shadow purchased the organization.

He was a partial owner before he bought us out!

TJ Watt is stirring up social media with throwin up a ✌️. Sounds like he either wants out or knows he is out.

So. question is, if the Steelers come calling and offer 21 and TJ Watt for 8, are you biting?

Without question

I can't see the Steelers making a move like that.  They're the type of team that goes into the season with Mason Rudolph and win 7-9 games instead of making any major moves.

nah, they go 9-8 cause Tomlin has never had a losing season.

I don't hate it for the right haul. We need more talented players and this accomplishes that. 1, 3, 5 and 6 and a future 1 and 3 is massive. I don't see how you turn that down.

It's my opinion that the uber talented players of this draft are mason graham, travis hunter, abdul carter and ashton jeanty. The only one of those that I anticipate being on the board when we pick is jeanty, and I don't see us taking him. In that regard, a trade back hurts very little. There are some good players that will be available at our positions of need in the mid/late first.

Tyler Warren? A 6’6 250 lb tight end that had over 100 receptions this past year isn’t uber talented?

Some of Mike Kaye's recent tweets revolve around TMac.

Conspiracy part of me thinks he's dropping some hints.

I think he is one of the few WRs we have talked to--we do not need an elite DL and the edges we like are pretty much in the back of the first or second.  I am starting to think we go with Walker, Williams, TMac, or Emmanwori

I just flat out don't believe in taking a tight end that early. That may be the hardest position to project in football. We've seen countless "can't miss" tight ends be very average players.  I just don't see the value.

Bowers was a 1st round tallent and even he didn't go top 10. Warren's speed and size will not be the positives they were in school. People have just fallen in love with a typical 2nd round TE in a draft lacking talent at the top. Even Olsen was a late 1st and he was quicker than Warren.

Warren is a better prospect than Olsen, IMO. Not saying he'll be as good a player, but purely as a prospect I'd rank him higher than Olsen.

I think ideally with Warren you're looking at a Jason Witten type guy. He's not a guy that wows you athletically, he just does everything right and despite not wowing you, at the end of the game and the end of the season he's put up good numbers and had a big impact.

The issue is that most of these guys turn out to not be Jason Witten. They project more as solid to good starters but they won't turn out to be future HOFers like Witten. Panthers fans love Wesley Walls and for good reason, but would you want Wesley Walls with a top 10 pick?

I honestly think that Colston Loveland has the higher ceiling of the two.
