Point is you can make up any kind of argument to back up/put down any player you want, but it still doesn't matter when it is a team issue... even up to your supposedly best players...

I agree that you can pick and choose stats to make them say what you want but I wasn't picking and choosing, I gave you the full, unbiased picture with those numbers.

You gave me two abstract numbers. Drops are somewhat subjective as well. You also didn't include total number of targets to compare ratios. On that list ahead of Smith are some of the best receivers in the game and using your logic LaFell is better than them as well ;).

I get your point but in this case it's invalid because there was full disclosure.

But you don't take into account practice reps/team chemistry/offensive coordination/etc. into your stats... Those count for something to, and therefore have validity...

Smith missed all of camp so the first reps they had together this year were week 1. By now Jimmy has had more reps with Smith than Moore has.

Your reaching, reaching faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar

Worst part about all this is if jc does turn it around, ppl will sob about not drafting a projected franchise QB because the projected franchise qb we drafted is playing well. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't

Most any of us fans can do at this point is play the waiting game or wait for Captain Hindsight to arrive. Or fling poo at one another

No one will sob if he plays well over an extended period of time. We'll sob if he plays well for one game and we lose out on the best QB prospect this decade.

He's earned all the "damning" he's gotten.
