I'm not worried about the future of the Panthers.

Sure this team is easily the worst team in NFL History. No that's not hyperbole either.

We draft a Luck or Cam Newton and we are set for the next decade. Offensively take a look at what we have. 4 rb's, 3 of which are very very good. Lafell and Gettis have shown much promise despite being thrown too by a 12 yr old.

John Lynch himself said he talked to Ronde Barber and Barber said Smitty has NOT lost a step. The Panthers just need to get him the ball more. I said get him the ball more. A defender on a rival team said that party peoples. Think about that.

The O line had several guys out most if not the whole season. That has to be taken into consideration.

That leaves us the D. While they play their hearts out, the D line easily needs an upgrade. LB's I'm not that worried about.

Ahh the secondary. Yeah. They are pretty bad. The secondary can be upgraded with a good FA pick up here or there. You can keep drafting depth for the D line and also get a quailty FA pick up there.

That's all you need to do. Perhaps another FA for WR but I still think you are in better shape than we have been in the past.

The key of course is JR's wallet, head and the next coach and GM.

This team will be fine but we would have been fine spending even just a little this year to contend too. Given Moore a chance, our team a chance or more importantly help out the young guys. We may ruin a few with this method but I guess the ones we find will be keepers if they don't get injured.

rhonde barber?

barber's been trucked by so many freakin people, from his point of view, nobody in the nfl has lost a step.

our secondary really isn't that bad. we have one of the best pass d's in the league. if we got more pressure on the QB, then we'd probably have an elite looking secondary.

none of them can tackle though...

That stat is very misleading. Teams don't need to pass on us, they already have the lead.

I will worry about our team until we have a new HC in place.

Even then, with Hurney still here, I may continue to worry.
