Strength of Schedule Breakdown

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

Can you update this after sunday? I will help if I can, but you are all over it. You see, you get something like this going and people get hooked on the info. Like junkies, this info will wear off and we will need to recalibrate by shooting some updated data into our viens.

I have it in a spreadsheet that's tied to the standings, so yeah.

Got a rep comment from someone on this that essentially said, "I don't understand it but I appreciate the effort" (thanks) :)

When/if the Chargers win, the SoS numbers will move into a tie at .5885 for both clubs.

if the 49ers somehow won, it'd move our teams further apart (obviously)

Yep. Officially tied, though I'm only going three decimals out.

(that's as far as the standings on NFL.com go)

The strength of schedule battle will change significantly over the next 3 weeks based on what we and Cincy do as well as everyone else on our respective schedule. If we end up with similar records it will come down to the last week. I really think Cincy will win this week. Lewis's job is on the line as well as Palmer, TO and several others.

I hope you are right. The thing to keep in mind tough is just because we beat AZ doesn't mean we're out of Luck.

Updating from today's results so far...

WEEK 15:

Chargers over 49ers Check

Colts over Jaguars Check

Eagles over Giants Check

Lions over Bucs Check

Chiefs over Rams Check

Ravens over Saints Check

Seahawks over Falcons Negative

STILL TO COME:

Patriots over Packers

Vikings over Bears

Obviously the biggest deal is that the Bengals won, but the fact that we won, and the fact that the scenario of the Falcons resting their starters in the final week is still in play means this ain't over yet.

wouldn't we need the steelers to lose this game to make our SoS weaker?
