The letters say the Panthers must receive the reinstatement payment by the close of business on Friday. Otherwise, the team would permanently cancel the PSL account, and owners would lose the money they paid for them – in some cases thousands of dollars.

if it is in the agreement then they are well within their rights

Still, after that game they should be paying the people who actually did go to see that steaming dumb, not penalizing the ones who didn't...

It's been that way for years. I feel bad for the people who are getting their PSLs revoked. But this isn't anything new.

How the hell can you FORGET to purchase your playoff tickets? You deserve to lose your PSL. That same guy who said “I don't agree with it, but I would hope the Panthers would have some consideration as regards to the economy. Some people are suffering right now and some people maybe didn't have the money,” said earlier in the article that he bought his playoff tickets and tried selling them, but had no luck.

I can't help but wonder why he had no luck. He was probably one of the ones trying to sell at a ridiculous price. So, he's hoping the PANTHERS to have some consideration in regards to the economy, yet he was trying to rip someone off. It's only speculation on my part, and it very well may be false. But to me, that seems the most likely scenario.

I was at a Christmas luncheon with a Spartanburg businessman who told me he and his partners had decided not to purchase their playoff tickets. "Nobody wanted to go, and we wanted to save the money." I told him that he would be in danger of losing his PSLs, and he acted shocked ... like it was the first time he'd ever heard of that. Then, he acknowledged that someone else "managed" the PSL account for the group ... I told him he needed to get with that person immediately. It already was past the due date to pay for them. I wonder whether they've gotten the letter.

Every time we get a playoff ticket invoice, it reminds us that in our PSL contract we are required to buy playoff tickets or forfeit our PSL.

Prolly should remind these people that if they don't buy their season tickets for next year they will forfeit their PSL as well. We get reminded of that in our ticket invoice letter every year as well. Yes, I know, its shocking.
