moss wouldn't be a good fit. old primadonna WRs don't make for good teammates on young teams. they need to be around grownups.

moss just has some major issues that i don't think i want to bother with. he has to be in an ideal situation where he feels appreciated on some grand level in order to produce anywhere close to the level he can. if things aren't lined up right for him, he gets lazy and pissy.

Oh I wasn't saying I wanted him, just that he would be a FA....

you're right, though it was just a 2 year deal that carries him through the 2011 season. more a safety net for The Golden Calf of Bristol, i suppose.

Out of QBs we can take Manning, Vick, Orton off the list. It's starting to look very thin. Maybe Hass or Hill as the only two guys with "Vet Experience"

yeah, and even with that...i only want them as insurance and a sideline guy that the rookie can look to for guidance.

i have a feeling that palmer might hit the market. tough call on that one. depends on what the new coach there wants to do and focus on.

In the QB department I wouldn't mind having Billy Volek as the back up veteran. I feel like that was the 2nd biggest mistake this offseason in not signing anyone who has a lot of NFL experience. Pulling guys off the street proves that the FO messed that up thinking they would be ok without veteran leadership.

On another note I think Tyson Clabo can be taken off the list. I think Atlanta pays him top dollar after saying he wants to stay with the Falcons. Have Nicks and the Saints been in talks yet?
