Little thing I noticed...

Arthur Blank treats his players really well. In the tunnel after the game on the way to the visiting team bus he had people there with hot meals for his players. I think it was some kind of BBQ, smelled good as hell.

Anyways, never have seen a team do that before. Little things like that really go a long way in building a team atmosphere me thinks...

That costs money. Not interested.

It took Blank a couple of mistakes to learn the football business. He had the Vick/wheelchair thing, Petrino, and was a little too "Jerry Jones" in the beginning. He learned pretty quick though, by removing McKay as GM and finding Dimitroff, hiring Mike Smith, and then getting out of the way. He genuinely cares about his team and that was a welcome change from the Rakin Smith era.

Anyone that knows me personally, knows that I despise the Falcons with unrelenting hate for a while now. However, I have to admit that I have been severly impressed with Mr. Blank's approach to turning this organization around.

A telling story happened at the outset of his ownership. He asked the players what was most important to them to making this a world-class team. Their response? "Get people in the stands!" So he slashed ticket prices to ridiculous costs (starting @ $10) and filled that stadium as promised.

To me, that speaks volumes about his priorities in the NFL ownership circle.
