Plain and simple, THIS KID SUCKS!!! Steve Smith can do no wrong in my eyes so watch your mouth when you say he dropped a pass because it looked to me like another awful throw by Jimmy. Steve Smith has done more for this franchise than anyone else ever has. We should be thankful he even is willing to still play for us.

More than Richardson? Dumb statement.

Thinking back to the game where I thought Clausen might have thrown a pass hard at Smith's feet as a message to him that he was in charge.

I was iffy on it then. Might have been more true than I thought.

Naw, I think you're giving Clausen too much credit. I really don't think he's bright enough to "throw a subtle hint" line that... pun intended

Steve Smith has done more for this franchise than anyone else ever has.

Obviously you can't top bringing the team to existence but as of right now he obviously cares more than Jerry and I can't believe he hasn't blown up yet.

Sam Mills took us to the playoffs ONCE. Steve Smith has done it 3 TIMES including a Super Bowl. So go pull for your Carolina Hurricanes like anyone in NC cares about hockey. Or watch your cool guy with the bull ring in his nose perform some ***** song or whatever he does.

Sam Mills also coached for us up until 2004 and was motivation for us when we reached the Super Bowl in 2003. Oh and he also has a statue out in front of BOA....dumbass

If you actually think I dont know that, your the dumbass. But he's never carried a team like Steve Smith has. Steve Smith made Jake Delhomme look good (2005 especially). But whatever, most of you people have forgotten and want to throw Smitty under the bus.

Then why couldn't he make Matt Moore look good? Or Clausen? Or Pike? Or St Pierre?

Because he's lost a step or 3, and isn't as good as he once was. And as far as throwing people under the bus, Smith has been doing it for years.
