Final: Falcons 31, Panthers 10

Generally speaking, when the Carolina Panthers run for more than 200 yards, it's a good thing.

Sunday, it wasn't nearly enough, as they lost 31-10 to the Atlanta Falcons at Bank of America Stadium.

The Panthers gained 212 of their 288 net yards on the ground, which speaks to the good work done by RBs Jonathan Stewart and Mike Goodson as well as the struggles of QB Jimmy Clausen.

Stewart finished with a season-high 133 yards on 18 carries, and Goodson added 70 yards and scored a touchdown for the third straight week.

The Panthers fell to 1-12, and kept pace for the first pick in the draft. Buffalo and Detroit fell two games back by winning their third games (beating Cleveland and Green Bay, respectively), while Cincinnati held serve at 2-11 by losing to Pittsburgh.
