It's actually pretty sad what the NCAA did to that school. Hell, even that pencil neck investigator fainted after reading the sentencing.

I dunno, if a school is caught cheating while still on probation then I wouldn't be surprised. Especially if it was an up and coming school like SMU that could challenge one of the larger program's dominance in that conference or state.

It wouldn't have taken 25 years if the school had not raised academic standards on athletes. Which was loosened a few years back.

imo the death penalty didn't keep them from winning in C-USA their administration did that on their own.
