you know, i'm one of the few people that thought chrono trigger was actually a step back towards mystic quest

just a little too much hand holding to really put it above ff6

that's not to say it isn't better than any rpg that's come out since. it may have been the last rpg where ambitions were realized

the dragons actually look nice. i seriously doubt how stable they'll be until the game is modded by the community
