Diaw is the problem in a way. He's part of the bigger problem, expensive players who provide no energy and aren't getting any better.

Diaw is a great fit on a successful team, on an unsuccessful team it's just pointless to keep him when TT, Brown, etc are younger, provide more energy and have potential.

Am I the only one who wouldn't mind if both Diaw and Tyrus started together? I think TT's athleticism would help him hold his own against other centers. He's undersized for it, sure, but I don't see how we can let someone with his potential not get more minutes.

TT would get beat up by most centers in the NBA. I think he is a good player, good defensive instincts, but he is more of an athletic 4(or could play the 3 if he smoothed out his jump shot), unfortunately he would be outweighed by most centers in the league by at least 20-30 lbs, not to mention the average 2-3 inches he would give up as well.

Exactly.
