Sorry to hear about the glasses... I have contacs myself for most days, but my eyes are supersentsitive and have to go at least one day a week with glasses. I agree though, cold weather sucks... I'm loving Florida. Coldest we've gotten so far is 46 degrees all Winter long

I managed to have a pair of classes completely repaired after they were bent way out of shape once, but the next time I brought in a messed up pair they just suggested I buy a new pair as it'd be cheaper than repairing the frames blech. I am about as clumsy as it gets so I destroy glasses on a fairly regular basis...

I tried contacts but I just don't like them... dunno, not for me.

Hope you're okay other than the glasses though, and good luck with the frames repair!

I am fine, thanks Raskle. I hit just above an to the side of my brow, it is sore as hell and the brow and eyelid are swollen. Eyelid is black, ugh!!!!

Got my glasses fixed this morning and actually came to Charlotte for a show. (White Christmas, a friend has season tickets.)

I never needed glasses until I got cataracts, and got them very early due to having to take high doses of prednisone about 15 yrs ago. Have had one cataract out...prolly get the next one out next year (after lake season). Hate glasses. Might consider contacts then.
