likewise... I'll check it out when I'm not up here at work, or either my two coworkers are out of the office...

I dug up this old link too...

lol, knock yourself out... be prepared to be unimpressed... hahaha

I don't look at it like that...I mean as a (now experienced) audio engineer, all I can do when I listen to music is critique the mix. I think that's true of all audio people.

When a mix is not so good, I can usually learn something by being able to pick out what doesn't make that particular mix work.

One word of advice I got from the head live engineer at the Orange Peel here in Asheville is, if it sounds bad, and you've tried different things, the only result is gunna be a "different kind of bad". Thought that was funny/good advice.

I'll have to check that out when I'm not at work...can't see myspace. But here's the latest album I produced:

You do surround mixes? I just know if you're running LE you need complete to do surround...or HD (who's going to pay that much!). PT 9 has delay compensation and you can run it off any interface...pretty baller

sometimes surround but usually if i'm i have the budget for surround I do dubs and then take it to a house that is really outfitted for it.

I used to work off a TDM system but it's currently out of comission due to me not being able to afford upgrading the accel cards.

A lot of my stuff was kinda bubble-gum-esque back then, and I partially blame learning FL as a cause of it...

If I could live my highschool/college years over, I'd go back and actually go to school for audio engineering... Everything I ever did was self taught, and for hobby/fun...

I'd still eventually like to do my own studio type thing, and record different artists and stuff... but that is on the backburner because of life...

My dad's been a musician all his life, and I get my interest in it from him... He's just opened up his own music store this past year, so maybe I'll get into it a little more to spend some time with him... Right now, he's doing mostly guitars/drums and stuff, but he eventually wants to setup a studio in his shop...
