I know we need another QB and he'll probably be our best bet but dang, is there nothing else to talk about? Luck this, Luck that, Luck this, Luck that......when is the next bandwagon coming along? This board will be dead if/when Luck finally signs with us.

It's not a Luck based thread when you're telling people to stop with the Luck based threads. It would be a Luck based thread if I were to say the same old stuff like, (do you think he'll come out?, Luck's dad said this, Luck just wiped his butt with a Clausen Jersey so that means he's looking to take over the QB position at Carolina, Luck just scratched his junk so I need to start a thread on the huddle!)

Nobody said to make one about Armanti either. Lord knows we have enough of those.

With as many self proclaimed gurus (one of which I am not) I figured there would be something else to talk about instead of logging on to see the same crap every single day. Let's be original people!

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
