You were also the guy on here saying we would be 7-9 this past season....hit that one on the head, didn't you?

I'll have to be convinced on this one.

Dungy's scheme was based on smaller, quicker defensive guys. We don't really have the right personnel to fit that sort of attack. Unfortunately, that meant that they often got pushed around in the run game. Bob Sanders made a difference, but prior to getting Sanders thwy were kind of slow to adapt.

My question will be whether he adapts his scheme or tries to force the players to fit what he wants to do (i.e. the Dan Henning approach).

Jury's out for me here.

That is the dumbest thing I have heard....we went 12-4...but we should have been 7-9.

Our run game carried this team....well no poo. We were designed to have the run game carry this team.

Fact is that you nave NEVER posted a single positive comment. It really must suck to have such a pessimistic view on everything.

I'm happy with this pickup. His secondaries have been very good. Heck in 2007 they got rid of their two SB winning CBs and ended up with the number 2 passing D with Marlin Jackson and Kelvin Hayden. Let us hope he can do the same thing with Gamble and whoever is on the other side(depending on what they do with Lucas).

Bad side to this being teams can run ALL OVER his defense. Seriously, run between the tackles and you're going to do well.

Ron Meeks. Jesus.

I am not so sure about that....we do have quick guys. DLewis is not a big DT. Johnson, Taylor, etc.. are quick DE's. We have alot of speed at LB.

We have the run stuffing DT that indy never had. This guy is a winner....when the Indy defense was healthy, they were very good.

Biggest question is whether Fox truly lets him run the D.

the team was collapsing by the time the running game kicked into high gear. they delayed the inevitable.

never posted a positive comment? are you high?

He never had the run stuffing DT's that we have. They chose to spend their cap space on offense and Dwight Freeney. He has never had the weapons the Panthers have...and still had good defenses.

he also had the greatest quick strike passing attack in the history of the nfl negating the other teams' running games.

our running game is good but you're delusional if you think it compares to the indy offense during their defense's heyday.

now tell us our DEs are as good as freeney, or our safeties as good as bob sanders, and that we'll be fine.

So their defense was good because......their offense was good.

Love the lack of logic that you once again display.
