If you could go back in panthers history and change one thing, what would it be?

I would change nothing. No 2001 season means no Julius Peppers. Rae Carruth not being a murderer means perhaps no Smitty. Drafting Jacobs over Shelton means perhaps no D-Will. Signing Witherspoon to an extension means perhaps no Beason. Everything happens for a reason.

If I ABSOLUTELY had to change one thing, it might be the damn Gilbert trade.

Agree also with whoever posted about diagnosing Mills earlier.

Pretty much everything Monsta said here...

That's kind of naive. 15 to 20 yards can make all the differenece i the world (particularly when all the opposition needs is a FG). I realize that you're just trying to rationalize Kasay's blunder for emotional reasons, but there is no way that you're going to make me believe that if it had been a normal kickoff that we would not have won the Super Bowl.

Well seeing as how the game was tied, no one can really say. It might have went into overtime but who knows from there. There was actually quite a bit of time left on the clock for New England.
