If you remember what we gave up to get the almighty Sean Gilbert, I think you'd find yourself an argument. That crippled the franchise for a while. Weinke was a late 2nd day pick. Who cares. The problem wasn't Weinke. It was the fact that we cut Stevy B, and passed the torch to Weinke in 2001.

I agree with the Steve B thing, but the Gilbert trade you can never know how much of a difference those picks would've made. We didn't exactly have a good draft history until recently.

The Shelton over Jacobs is tough too.

Del Rio was gone as soon as the Head Coach position opened up. So that was inevitalbe. If he would have stayed one more season. We would have won the Super Bowl in 03-04

SEAN GILBERT what a waste. I hated that move. 2 - 1st rounders and he was a waste of human flesh.

Morgan over Witherspoon....I like Dan Morgan but Witherspoon was the man... He has been quiet in St. Louis.

      And you can see him going through his reads. Really good at standing tall  surveying the field. I even saw a few plays where he guided the safety away from his intended target.
