What is up with the Panthers website?

they don't have anything on peppers or trgovac. they have stories on other coaches.

seems they are having a hard time reporting the news of the offseason on the teams very own website!!!

i had it as my start up page but had to change to espn nfl to keep up with the news of my fav. team cause their own website is so far behind.

they probably don't want to publicize, like every other business, of people leaving. It is not good PR.

I doubt that is the reason. The panther website is aweful, I stopped even looking at that garbage a long time ago, they are usually about 3 days behind on any major news if they even ever put it up there. You would think they would have a little more pride in what they do.

Agreed.

And on top of that, there isn't much to post, unless you want interviews from the coaches that left?

maybe it was just me then. since i had it as my start up page, i got most of my team news from there. the peppers story has been out awhile now and not a word of it at their site.

and again, they have stories of all of the other coaches that are leaving but not a mention of trgovac or peppers. just seems weak not to at least aknowledge it in any way at all. peppers especially, he's our biggest defensive star (was, 52 rules).

It's not their call. It comes from above.

Last year they were on top of their game. I remember seeing surprised threads when info was posted before other sources came out with the same info.

New writer last year, IIRC.

There's not much to post right now. Not sure what you all expect to read? The non-sense floating around here? lol

I hear ya. And perhaps they could write about Peppers leaving. But all they could do would, again, speculate.

We know he's leaving. But we there isn't much else to repond to.

Wait to see what happens with the new DC and new coaching hires, FA, etc.. Not saying it will be posted right away, but last year I seem to remember (IIRC) it was published fairly quickly last year.

I'm sure, according to them, Peppers isn't a story yet. He's still under contract and on the roster. If he gets franchised or traded then I'm sure they'll put something up. What they consider official team news is quite different from what the beat writers think is news.

This stuff(in a way) comes straight from the horses mouth, they aren't darin gantt, they can't speculate or give their own opinions

the organization as a whole doesn't say anything until it's in ink or until it is finalized, the website will follow the same, it's just how they do things

I doubt it's because of PR, when smith punched lucas they reported it the next day with video
