Note: Rooting for the Panthers to lose this week is a fan law violation

Thanks, Jangler.

I re-enlisted onboard the Arizona Memorial in 1990 with 4 other guys on my ship. It is an eerily moving experience to set foot on the Memorial with it's glass bottom and an entire wall covered with the engraved names of those who went down with the ship.

I had the honor of raising an American flag from the Memorial, which I still have, complete with a letter stating what day the flag was raised over the Memorial.

I don't think anyone roots for us to lose. We just don't CARE if we lose, because of what it could get us in the Draft. I doubt anyone is PULLING for the Falcons.

It's sort of like we've all become casual fans, just watching the local team play a game. You cheer if they score, and go "aww" if something bad happens. But you aren't out there cussing at your TV if the refs make a bad call, and you aren't pacing back and forth hoping for a win in crunch time.

Well put!

Thank you for your service to this great country!

I was so excited for 1 qtr and 13 min of the Seattle game. Thought the team was getting it together. Meant no Luck but looked like the Panthers were going to be winners. Liked that more. Will never pull for this team to lose.

I just can't convince myself that one player could turn this problem around. Even if you had your pick of any NFL player ever.

A franchise QB + a pretty good coach = turnaround.

If we win, great. If we lose BETTER! It doesn't matter if we pull for them to lose or pull for them to win, we still win in the end. I'm not an advocate for pulling against them but times are tough and we need all the help we can get next year. So if the Panthers get a little Dirty Bird poop on their fur it will wash off in time for next year for us to have some Falcon feathers stuck in our teeth.

The question to root for the Panthers to win is a nonissue because it is not going to happen,Arizona perhaps but not Atlanta.

The bad news is that we are presently the worst team in the NFL,while the Falcons are one of the best but the good news is it will not always be that way.It may take another year or so but i fully believe, given time,we will come roaring back.

At this point, I watch the Panthers to see my team play. To see what they can do. Take Stewart and Goodson for instance. I'm interested in boosting the trade value of both these players, to see which one to keep and which one would bring in the most value in a trade. Also would like to use Clausen for trade bait, but at this point he might be a lost cause. (Then again, the Browns got Peyton Hillis for Brady Quinn):yesnod:

I would like to see the Panthers get a victory this weekend. I wouldn't mind hearing ESPN mentioning the Panthers once this season in a more positive light.
