I've been an advocate for the Panthers losing for Luck for the past few weeks now, but that ends Sunday. If you actively root for the Atlanta Falcons to come into Charlotte and beat us when we could have a chance to deliver them an epic embarrassment and possibly stop them from home-field advantage, you are a crappy fan.

So it has been said, so it shall be.

I never root for my team to lose. IMHO if you feel the need to do that, find another team. I don't really care about the draft pick choices. Whether we win or we lose I will still root for a victory.

Victory = something we can poo on Falcons fans for forever. Their 2007 victory over us x10 because they're actually having a great year. Not likely at all and what not but still.

Playing spoiler isn't my idea of an incentive. I don't see us beating a focused Falcons team though. Hell we couldn't be a terrible Seahawks team even when we had a 14 point lead right out of the gate.

I cheer when we make a good play and I groan when the other team does, but when we lose in the end, I don't feel so bad.

I don't think anyone roots for us to lose. We just don't CARE if we lose, because of what it could get us in the Draft. I doubt anyone is PULLING for the Falcons.

It's sort of like we've all become casual fans, just watching the local team play a game. You cheer if they score, and go "aww" if something bad happens. But you aren't out there cussing at your TV if the refs make a bad call, and you aren't pacing back and forth hoping for a win in crunch time.
