Hijacking the thread but (my apologies)..... With all the teams letting go of their head coaches, it may be difficult or more difficult to land a top tier choice coach here. Not to mention possible lock out, Panthers management struggles or pissing contest(s). I really want to look at the glass half full, but its looking gloomy for a while.

I think Fox still being here has more to do with Leslie Frazier and Jason Garrett being > anyone we have as an option.

I think it's just that we don't really have a HC option on our staff.

Denver is the only club that fired a coach without a clear coach in waiting candidate.

We need to go for a coordinator from somewhere with a 3-4 background, we've got the personell for a dominant 3-4 defense and get back to running the ball, we've definatly got the guys for that.

I wouldn't mind seeing a switch to a 3-4 but we do not have the personnel to make that work. Meeks has been retooling the D going with lighter faster linemen. We have no 2 gap DTs and you won't have success in a 3-4 if O linemen can get to the second level.
