The only thing I'll say is that I had Clausen rated higher than Bradford...

But then the same team drafted him that drafted a blocking WR with small hands when it needed a solid #2/future #1, and then traded what may end up being the 1st overall pick in the second round to move up and get a QB/WR project that has hardly seen the field this season... so, maybe I was wrong?

Even Mardy is seeing the field as a returner and a WR... Same can't be said for Edwards...

im not disagreeing with edwards but Lafell has 334 yds and a td and has shown he can get open. Gilyard is on a team with WRs that are injured and has had ample time to prove hisself which he hasnt.

WRs are/will be fine that are here. maybe trade smith in for a younger model, but i feel good about these guys. they're getting open. haven't seen enough from edwards to tell anything.

anyway....i'd feel worse about drafting clausen if we had given up a first rounder, traded up for him, or given him a huge contract. none of these are true, so it isn't going to be that big of a deal to go out and get a new one next year. where clausen fell, he was a low risk, high reward type pick....at least for guys you are hoping to be a franchise QB.

thats not to make lightly of a 2nd rounder, but when you are trying to find your franchise QB, that isn't a bad place to try and take a risk.
