It Can Easily Get Worse

It bothers the hell out of me, as well. We have got to get our ring before they do...

Luck has to come out this year. Im not built like those Brown and Lion fans, I cant take losing for years and years. I said im prepared for us to be bad for atleast 4 to 5 years, but im not. Oh gosh....Luck has to come out.

It bothers the living f**k out of me.

Not me. The way I look at it, The Falcons have been pure shat for over four decades. If they win a sb, look at how long it has taken them to do so.

Just cross your fingers and hope we get ours in a shorter amount of time than it took the Saints/Falcons to get theirs. :D.

Your right. Sitting on their couch eating donuts for a year while another group guys like Alshon Jeffery stock continues to rise is sure to keep their stock sky high!

If we don't start hearing some positive news on the CBA, most Underclassmen are gonna stay. People need to start preparing themselves for it.

I think your confused the draft happens regardless of a lockout so what you just said makes no sense

what incentive do they have for staying?

draft is going to happen regardless. if their stock is high, why would they opt to stay? if they do they risk injury or poor performance that can drive their stock down. they also could end up being in a crosed draft class which will dilute their value as well.

sorry...better to get drafted and sit for a year than not get drafted and lose value.

This. If someone like Andrew Luck is the potential #1 overall pick, and he chose not to declare because of the lockout, he could suffer an injury next season and forfeit millions. Strike while the iron is hot, his stock may never be higher (Jake Locker).

Problem is, look at guys like Locker and Bradford. That's why I'm scared he won't come out and we'll get stuck with whatever is left.

Locker was projected to be a possible #1 if he came out last year, and he chose to stay in school for some inexplicable reason. Bradford was projected to be a top pick year before last but chose to stay in school despite numerous analysts saying they didn't understand because of the risk of injury etc. Well, Bradford stayed anyway and then got injured. And guess what? He still got drafted #1 and is having the most successful rookie season for a QB ever.

Don't know what will happen with Locker but I've heard guys like McShay say that his play this year isn't his fault and the team is bad... But, still... He stayed and he'll still get drafted this year (I'm guessing in the 2nd or 3rd after workouts and interviews). He wasn't swayed by the "stock is never going to be higher" argument and his team sucked.

Now look at Luck. Look at Stanford. Imagine they win they're bowl game. Harbaugh decides he's not ready for the NFL leap yet and re-signs. Stanford is light years better than Washington was when Locker stayed...

I just don't have a good feeling. I hope I'm wrong though.

Won't them having a ring pretty much negate this whole comment?
