Poll: Should Panthers take Luck in NFL draft?

drafting luck is a no brainer, but i still voted "wait till end of year" becuase we'll have to wait and see if Luck even declares for the draft. with a possible lockout alot of non seniors are going to return for thier junior and senior years. Also, harbaugh might be staying at stanford which might also play a role in whether he leaves early or not. fwiw

It was reported by a draft guy for SI.com back in september that it's very likely he's coming out http://www.mockingthedraft.com/2010/9/20/1700167/right-now-those-intimate-with-the Still though, just have to wait and see. He would have to be very brave to turn down the NFL when he's the guarenteed number 1 pick.

Luck is going #1 overall. If we have the #1 pick, we take him. End of story. If you don't understand that, the oh well. Talk to ANY person that covers the NFL for a living, or works w/ in or around it, you will hear the exact same thing. I don't understand why thats so hard to grasp.

why would he not come out when there could be a rookie cap after the CBA?

The CBA rookie cap would most likely affect this year's (2011) draft choices as well, since you wouldn't have to sign them until after the agreement.
