I mean I would go if I got an invite... it would be a cool experience, one that almost no one gets. You just need to temper your expectations.

And be sat in a room on your own with cameras pointed at you - didn't realise you were in to public humiliation.

It does give the camera crews something to focus on, but I doubt Milroe is going to attract a lot of sympathy.  In my mind, he should be hoping for a day 2 pick.  He may see it as free air time--if the camera stays in your face, it is implying that you are falling like Rodgers or Brady Quinn, players thought to go early.  I would say that QB is a position that tends to fall after the teams without QBs pick...so maybe they want that drama because it is predictable, but that person would be possibly Sanders, certainly J. Dart this year, not Milroe. No drama in Milroe, unless they give him a jumpsuit and a broom and ask him to clean up at the end. Maybe it gives him a chip on his shoulder even though he has no business being in that room--from our perspective.  To me, he is better than Anthony Richardson....fwiw.

The other side of the coin: That's right--I was using a coin metaphor all along.  Do the producers know something we don't?  I heard the NFL network (can't recall who was saying it) say they do not like the negativity of having a person in the Green room not get drafted--said the producers have to scramble to find out if the prospect left or is staying for day 2---just a bit awkward and bittersweet--not what they are going for with the celebratory nature of the draft production.  They said they reduced the number of invitations for this reason.  What does this mean?  They may know something we don't.  Rams?

Speaking of quarterbacks...

Wondered If perhaps he also talked about Bryce but given the source I wouldn't necessarily bet on it.

Anthony Richardson was a terrible pick--you draft a QB in the first round, you have to give him 2-3 years--it will take him 3 years to reach JAG status.

Agreed he was very inconsistent as a passer and very raw overall.  Reach big time.  Milroe is probably a little better passer but he will leave a team wanting more as well.

I guess the difference is Milroe won't go in the top 5.  Most likely not the first round.  Might see a Jalen Hurts type pick in the 2nd if a team really likes him.

I didn't watch every Florida game that year, but Anthony Richardson is the worst college QB I've ever seen go top 5.  Other than Trey Lance I guess lol.

and he and Lance had limited college reps---Lance played 1 full season as the starter.  (28 TDs  0 Ints. 66% against lower competition for the most part.

Twitter sources, but supposedly the Rams want him. He might actually go Round 1.

Why would the rams tell the league- " Hey that QB rated in the 2-4 range, we are strongly thinking of drafting Milroe in the 1st"

I get its a Twitter rumor, but that's something smart team wouldn't do specially if you have him rated much higher than the other 31 teams...odd

Probably the agent talking more than the team.  The team probably shouldn't have told them, but it happens.  Look at XL last year

Yup, I got burned on Lance.   Buyer beware--stay far, far away from RSOs.  They are way too raw for arguably one of the toughest/demanding positions in all of sports.  I knew Richardson was likely to flame out.  He might be a reclamation project down the road, but as of now...in the present, he's a bust.
